The attractiveness of the neighborhood remains the priority

The attractiveness of the neighborhood remains the priority

FOR LES ÉCHOS NEWSPAPER

PUBLICATION JUNE 2020

The past few weeks have been demanding for anyone trying to plan for the high season this year. At SDC Vieux-Montréal, it was decided that the attractiveness of the historic district should remain a priority. Old Montreal must continue to sport its own imprint of authenticity. Thus, we will be ready to welcome visitors.

Already, with the progressive commercial reopening phases continuing and daily life slowly resuming, public spaces in Old Montreal will be able to allow everyone to take full advantage of this inspiring neighborhood.

With the recovering vitality, cleanliness efforts will resume increasingly on the territory thanks to teams from the Ville-Marie borough. At the same time, SDC Vieux-Montréal sets in motion

the strategy of the past few years with its embellishment program, carried out with the support of teams from the Ville-Marie borough. As a matter of fact, the creation of urban oases and flowering throughout the territory will in particular ensure the conviviality of the environment. These actions, added to the cachet and the exceptional commercial offer, will clearly allow the “Vieux” to position itself this summer as a vacation destination of choice for Montrealers and day trippers.
