What’s on the menu in Old Montreal?

From February 23 to March 5, some of the district’s best restaurants invite you to celebrate the 18th edition of Montréal en Lumières.

This year’s Montréal en Lumières will honour the city of Lyon, and Old-Montreal’s finest establishments are stocking up to serve you food and wine from the gastronomy capital of the world. The district’s chefs have also ramped up their creative efforts to please your senses by exposing you to a plethora of exotic culinary experiences: Eat and drink your way through Piémont, across the Mediterranean, and all the way down to the South African coast!

Graziella

  • Piémont’s gastronomy: from Torino to Barbaresco, along the GR footpath – Thursday February 23 and Friday February 24 at 6:30PM

Chef Graziella hosts chef Giovanni Grasso and vineyard owner Giorgio Pelissero to take on an adventure through Piémont and savour authentic and modern pairings.

  • Chef Floriant Remont and winemaker Yves Cuilleron at Graziella – Wednesday March 1st and Thursday March 2nd at 6:30PM.

Young Lyonnais chef Floriant Remont will team up with Graziella’s team to elaborate a menu worthy of northern Rhône’s finest wines hand-picked by winemaker Yves Cuilleron.

Ê.A.T - Être avec toi

  • La cocina barroca de Puebla, México - March 2, 3 and 4 as of 5PM.

Puebla is the quintessential city of baroque. Founded over 350 years ago, Mesón Sacristía restaurant has remained faithful to Puebla’s architecture, culture, and traditional cuisine. This delightful feast of ancient and baroque flavours will be prepared by guest chef Ruth Ruiz Diaz and Sébastien Giannini. Come discover traditional Mexican cuisine at its very finest!

Hambar

  • Charcuterie-themed evening with Aniss Meski – From February 23 to March 5 as of 11:30AM.

A new charcuterie platter inspired by Lyonnais traditions.

  • Bouchon on McGill Street with Aniss Meski – Friday March 3 and Saturday March 4 as of 11:30AM.

Come experience a delightful menu, put together in the tradition of the bouchon Lyonnais.

Helena

  • Dazzling Tapas – March 2 at 6:30PM and 8:00PM

Soak up the Mediterranean sun while savouring homemade tapas from two great chefs: chef Pepa Muñoz and chef Helena Loureiro.

Ikanos

  • Kemal Demirasal at Ikanos – Thursday February 23 and Friday February 24 as of 5:30PM.

Chef Constant Mentzas hosts internationally renown Turkish chef Kemal Demirasal. They will work together to serve an exquisite 5-course mezzes menu to share.

On February 24, a young participant on The Brigades Culinaires from La Tablée des Chefs will get the chance to work with our chef!

  • Seafood menu – From February 25 to 28 and March 1st, 4th and 5th as of 5:30PM.

The house classics will be served with 10 seafood meal options and plenty of mezzes to be shared between friends and family.

  • South African chef Neil Jewell has been invited to Ikanos – Thursday March 2 and Friday March 3 as of 5:30PM.

Ikanos and its chef Constant Mentzas are proud to welcome chef Neil Jewell and let you discover his fresh gourmet cuisine.

On March 3rd, a young participant on The Brigades Culinaires from La Tablée des Chefs will get the chance to work with our chef!

The Auberge Saint-Gabriel

  • Lyonnais gastronomy at the Auberge! – Thursday February 23 and Friday February 24 as of 7:30PM

Auberge Saint-Gabriel is inviting Lyonnais chef Olivier Delberges for a night of daring cuisine, rich local flavours and exceptional wines – all while basking in the Auberge’s amicable ambiance.

  • Aubergiste! À boire! À manger! – Saturday, March 4 as of 10PM

Take some time off your Nuit Blanche nocturnal expedition and come warm yourself up fireside with a delicious French onion soup and a glass of delicious mulled wine.

Les 400 coups

  • Lyon at les 400 coups – Wednesday March 1st and Thursday March 2 at 5:30PM and 8:45PM

Come discover a themed menu featuring Lyonnais classics with a local twist.

Mercuri

  • Breakfast is served – February 23, 24 and 28 as well as March 1st, 2, 3 – at noon

Discover a lunch table d’hôte, inspired by traditional midday Lyonnais eats, every day of the week during the festival. Breakfast, brunch or lunch, you can never go wrong at Mercuri!

Tapas 24

  • Relâche gourmande at Tapas 24 – From February 27 to March 5

Family and friends will be pleased with their exquisite chef’s table tasting menu, come on by to see what Tapas 24 does best!

  • A night of Michelin tapas with Ryan McCaskey – Tuesday, February 28, and Wednesday March 1st.

Voted best chef by the prestigious James Beard Foundation. On both nights, a tasting menu featuring Michelin-star winning tapas will be all yours.
