A preview of World Press Photo on de la Commune West

World Press Photo Montreal is once again exhibiting outdoors for the summer season.

While you wait for the official exhibition at Bonsecours Market, from August 30 to October 15, a dozen large-format photos are on display on de la Commune Street West.

SDC Vieux-Montréal invites you to come and admire photos from the "Before It's Gone" series by photographer M'hammed Kilito, a World Press Photo award winner for the same series.

Having studied in Montreal and lived in Canada for over 10 years, M'hammed Kilito is a photographer based in Casablanca. His World Press Photo series depicts the impact of climate change on oasis communities in Morocco. The images capture the encroachment of the desert on dwellings, while M'hammed emphasizes the finite nature of oases that could disappear forever.
