Tu m’enveloppes et je te contiens

On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, Fonderie Darling offers you Tu m’enveloppes et je te contiens, an "introspective and ambitious" exhibition on the theme of memory.

Ten artists (Christophe Barbeau, Sameer Farooq, Naakita Fedlman-Kiss, Steve Giasson, Alexis Gros-Louis, Alexia Laferté Coutu, Catherine Lescarbeau & Manoushka Larouche, Marion Lessard, Guillaume Adjutor Provost and Lan Florence Yee) revisit the two exhibition spaces and the basement of the building with original works. You will be able to discover, or rediscover, the history of Fonderie Darling and its transition from a metal foundry to a place of contemporary art.

The title of the exhibition refers to the play The Balcony by Jean Genet in which two characters have a symbiotic relationship that can recall the relationship between the work of an artist and a curator.
