La Cantine and Aire commune

Aire commune has come to Montreal’s Old Port and its restaurant Cantine. This project started by Îlot 84 is an initiative to let people assemble together in a place out of the ordinary. The huge furnished terrace just across from the Grande Roue ferris wheel gives you a wonderful view over Old Montreal while you enjoy a drink or a delicious meal next to the river.

Their summer menu has been crafted by Erika Lafleur and Antoine Lacroix-Vézina of Café Saison des Pluies, and the wine menu (which also includes local beers and summer cocktails) was created by the Moût Agency.

If you’re interested in coming here for a work day, you can count on the free WiFi and the nice installations set up in the area to make for a productive afternoon in the fresh air.

Did you know that Îlot 84 is also behind the Summer Islets initiative? These cabins are made to let you telework outside thanks to its free WiFi, adapted furnishing, and electrical outlets. You can find two of them in Old Montreal.
