Humor during the war: Testimonies of the French-Canadian soldiers
11.11.2018 – 11.11.2018
Despite the fact that World War I was such a tragic event, the French-Canadian soldiers figured a way to use humor as a way to handle the horror of the war. Inspired by this phenomenon, Bernard Andrès, writer, lecturer and full professor at the Université de Québec in Montreal, wrote the book “L’humour des Poilus canadiens-français dans la Grande Guerre”. Come discover the testimonies of these brave soldiers on Sunday November 11th at 1:30PM at the Ramezay Castle. Lecture included in Museum entrance fee. Conference In French only.
