Flûtes Alors! From Liège to Madrid

The magnificent Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours welcomes the Flûtes Alors! ensemble, made up of four new-generation recorder players, accompanied by Sylvain Bergeron, an expert on ancient guitars.

The concert is dedicated to Mateo Romero who was born in 1575 in Liege and died in 1647 in Madrid. This composer is recognized as the last student of the great Franco-Flemish school, a musical renewal movement dating from the 15th century.

In addition to appreciating the musical heritage of this composer, you will also have the opportunity to discover an instrument played by Sylvain Bergeron: the vihuela.
