3 April 2023 to 3 April 2023

To complement the exhibition "Inuit Worlds - the Saladin D'Anglure Collection", a unique collection presented at Château Ramezay, attend a lecture by Bernard Saladin d'Anglure and Caroline Hervé on the subject.

The two anthropologists will discuss their respective experiences on Arctic societies, especially the Inuit material culture of the 1960s based on more than 350 objects. Bernard has created a research center on Arctic societies, a journal Inuit Studies, while Caroline works with Inuit women in Nunavik "on the relationship between the state and Inuit women in the contexts of justice and health and social services."

The conference will be followed by a discussion period with the two anthropologists. Please note that the number of places is limited and that you must reserve our presence at the following address: [email protected].
