Centre Phi invites you to discover the exposition Chaos and memories combining the immersive British installation FRAMERATE: Pulse of the Earth and four award-winning Taiwanese virtual reality works.
Chaos & Memories is an exhibition in two parts that takes us through personal, empirical and historical experiences. While the works hail from different geographical locations, the artworks presented feel somehow interconnected, revealing the subtle erosion of time and memory.
FRAMERATE reveals alterations caused by human-centered industry and the immense forces of nature; destruction, extraction, habitation, construction, harvests, growth, and erosion. Created from thousands of daily 3D time-lapse scans of British landscapes, the work observes change on a scale impossible to see with the lens of traditional cameras.
