17.03.2021 – 15.08.2021
From March 17 to August 15, come and discover the Carne y ARENA exhibition at the Phi Centre.
The conceptual virtual reality installation CARNE y ARENA (Virtually Present, Physically Invisible) by Alejandro G. Iñárritu explores the human condition of migrants and refugees.
Based on real-life stories, it blurs the superficial border between subject and spectator to bring them closer together, allowing participants to wander in a vast space and to experience a fragment of the refugees' personal journey intimately. This exhibition is a twenty-minute solo journey around a virtual reality sequence, experienced by three simultaneous visitors in separate rooms.
