Practical guide for Old Montreal businesses
Market study on Old Montreal's clientele
This analysis provides an up-to-date assessment of supply and demand in the Old Montreal in a post-pandemic context. The project was carried out with financial support from the City of Montreal city over a period of nearly 10 months, combining field analysis and focus group data collected in summer and fall of 2023.

Old Montreal Cultural Offering Support Program
This program, set up thanks to financial support from the City of Montreal, allows the Old Montreal SDC and various neighbourhood cultural installations to develop a schedule of dynamic and free activities, based on the expertise and creativity of Old Montreal's institutions. Partners developed through this program can offer a quality entertanment schedule for the 2022-2023 season to the area, supporting the economic recovery movement.
The promotion of all cultural activities linked to this program is done through the Old Montreal SDC's social media, as well as on the website sdcvieuxmontreal.com
N.B.: Businesses qualifying for this support program must be SDC members and belong to the cultural activity sector.
Financial assistance: businesses in areas affected by major construction work
This financial assistance program is aimed at reducing the impact of work sites for establishments located in areas affected by major construction.
Eligible area in Old Montreal:
Financial aid up to 40 000 $

Ce programme d’aide financière s’adresse aux établissements situés dans un secteur affecté par des travaux majeurs et a pour objectif de diminuer les impacts liés au chantier.

Subvention pouvant aller jusqu'à 5 000 $
Date limite de dépôt: 30 octobre 2025
