During the confinement, it's important to keep on moving to stay in shape. In this article, discover the establishments in Old Montreal that offer online classes.

Panda Boxing

If you like boxing or want to try a new sport, Panda Boxing has thought of you. Recently settled in Old Montreal, they offer two types of training videos several times a week on their Instagram page. The tutorial type video series is dedicated to those who would like to learn the basics of boxing while the home workout videos are a little more general with Full-Body exercises or HIIT Circuit training.

Panda Boxing also offers free online classes on Zoom on Monday at 5PM, on Wednesday at 12PM and on Saturday at 10AM. To register, it's simple:

  2. Click on LOGIN or CONNECTION
  3. Create an account on Mindbody with your email address
  4. An email will then follow with the ZOOM link (12h-24h before the session).

Yoga Vieux Montreal

If you are a member of Yoga Vieux-Montréal, you can still practice thanks to their online studio on Zoom! Yoga Vieux-Montreal offers daily classes that last between 20 to 50 minutes for students of all levels with suggested donations ranging from 5 to 20$ that will go directly to the teachers. A good way to take the time to breathe in this time of uncertainty and stress!

Milan Pole Dance Studio

Do you want to become more flexible or to simply move more at home? Milan Pole Dance Studio has set up virtual classes on Zoom, all based on voluntary contributions (via Interac or PayPal) and the profits go directly to the teacher. Dance lessons, flexibility, yoga, splits, awareness classes, yoga for children ... The classes last about 60 minutes and are accessible to everyone! The studio also offers an online pole dance class for students with poles at home. Please note that this is the only class with an equipment restriction and a knowledge prerequisite. Gym360

At Gym360, they never stop moving! The gym offers various online classes for free via Zoom, including HIIT classes (high intensity training), Tabata (interval training method with 20s effort and 10s rest), WOD (workout of the day, crossfit style), Yoga and Yogafit. Gym360 also offers free personalized training programs and weekly monitoring via their training app.

Luna Yoga

Throughout the week, Luna Yoga is waiting for you online! The studio offers live classes twice a day at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday and at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Each lesson costs $10 + taxes and the studio also offers a package of 10 classes for $90 + taxes, or the Luna Pass at $92 + taxes/month for unlimited access.
