Collaboration entre Gens du Vieux

Collaboration entre Gens du Vieux

Le Vieux is a tightly-knit community, as evidenced by the amazing partnerships we would like to show you through this special address book. In this article we will highlight some collaborations happening between our Gens du Vieux. Because you know two is always better than one!

AN INTRIGUING COLLABORATION

A Unique Marriage between Fashion and Gastronomy:

Restaurant Monarque and fashion designer Sarah Pacini, inspired by the particular worldwide pandemic situation we find ourselves in and the social distancing it necessitates, have teamed up to ease distancing between restaurant customers by installing mannequins throughout the restaurant, clothed in Sarah Pacini’s creations. You will be able to savour a great meal courtesy of Chef Jérémie Bastien on either the dining room or brewery side, in the company of these stylishly dressed statuesque characters from July 6th until October 6th.

The hotel’s "Spa Escape" package includes two relaxing one-hour Swedish massage sessions from its neighbouring spa.

COLLABORATIONS TO DISCOVER THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

Because learning knows no age:The Pointe-à-Callière Museum, archeological and historical site of Montreal is an Old Montreal must-see and it holds partnerships with several other establishments in the neighbourhood that will allow you to access certain expositions that they hold.First is their reciprocal partnership with Centre Phi: when you present your Pointe-à-Callière Museum ticket at Centre Phi, you will obtain a 20% discount on admission to their Emergence and Convergence exposition. Conversely, when you show your entry ticket from Emergence and Convergence, you will get a 20% discount on entry to the PAC Museum. This offer is valid until December 31st, 2020.Next, The InterContinental Montreal is offering two packages in association with Pointe-à-Callière: with the purchase of the “Pirates or Privateers?” package, you will receive a family pass (valid for 2 adults and 2 children) for the Pointe-à-Callière Museum. And the “Cultural Getaway” package will give you two adult tickets for Pointe-à-Callière. There are also hotels associated with the PAC Museum, notably Hotel Nelligan, whose “A Piece of History” package includes two tickets for the museum’s permanent expositions, as well as Auberge du Vieux-Port, whose “Cheers to Discovering” package grants two general admissions to Pointe-à-Callière. Guidatour also possesses one of the more interesting combos with Pointe-à-Callière: with one admission ticket to the museum you will be offered a 20% discount on the regular rate of a walking tour of Old Montreal East, West, or the whole neighbourhood. To receive this favourable discount, you must reserve your tour online on the Guidatour website and enter the promo code GuidaPAC2020, then present your Pointe-à-Callière Museum entry ticket at the time of your Guidatour visit.

SPECIAL OFFERS FOR GENS DU VIEUX

Many establishments in le Vieux find it important to highlight the Gens du Vieux (workers or residents of Old Montreal), especially in this period of pandemic events. Therefore, they offer packages or discounts that cater specifically to our Gens du Vieux. For example, Nelli Café + Vin nature, a newcomer to the neighbourhood, is offering #gensduvieux a coffee for only one dollar, from September 14th to the 27th. It’s a great way to build new relationships!
