The holidays are first and foremost an opportunity to share a hearty meal with friends and family, but also to dress to impress! Old Montreal is teeming with restaurants, all of which boast flare elegance. A handful of them have released holiday menus, so get out your nicest dresses and dress shirts, and get ready for a night on the town – a gastronomical experience which is bound to please all foodies!

The Taverne Gaspar

The Taverne Gaspar is planning quite memorable evenings for the holiday season! In the spirit of tradition, the gourmand tavern is offering up a special, festive menu to invite you to your home away from home. The menu features comfort food, original cocktails and a lovely selection of local beers and liquors.

Terrasse William Gray

For the first time, you will be able to eat on the Terrasse William Gray during the winter time. Transparent geometrical heated domes were installed to accommodate from 4 to 8 people. The menu will evolve throughout the season and for Christmas enjoy a special chef-prepared menu using ingredients from local producers. Pappardelle with Sauvagine cheese cream, grilled halibut or braised shoulder of Quebec lamb, whatever your choice, you will have a wonderful time.

The Vieux-Port Steakhouse

The Vieux-Port Steakhouse is open every day of the holiday period, making it the ideal place to get together with family and friends. Whether it’s for the evening table d’hôte at $66, available from December 1st, 2022, to January 8th, 2023, or the brunch menu on December 24, 25 and 31, as well as January 1, their cozy ambiance is bound to delight you.

Restaurant of the Hôtel Gault

The Hôtel Gault is fully ready for all of your event planning needs, and invites you to dine in an intimate and elegant atmosphere. Enjoy a succulent four-course Christmas supper developed by the chef himself with local produce, or rather opt for a custom cocktail reception with a lovely wine selection and festive holiday drinks.

The Brasserie 701

Drawing its inspiration from Parisian brasseries, the Brasserie 701 invites you to celebrate the holidays with classic French brasserie-style plates. On December 24 and 25, as well December 31 and January 1, discover their special table d’hôte menus and savour their scrumptious brunches.

Osco!

Come discover the highly-anticipated holiday menu at Osco!, the restaurant of the Hôtel InterContinental! Rich and flavourful meals will be served up on their brunch dates on December 25 and January 1. On the nights of December 24, 25 and 31, enjoy a gastronomic experience filled with the scent of lavender, freshly baked breads, olives and imported wines. In addition, during the holiday dinners, you will have the opportunity to be accompanied by live music!

Kyo Bar japonais

Are you of fan of Japanese cuisine? On December 24th and 25th, come down to Kyo Bar Japonais for a a holiday dinner to remember! With its wonderful selection of sushi, oysters and sashimi and a menu inspired by the izakaya, Kyo will allow you to feast on the seafood you love and end the evening with a classic Christmas log.

Hotel St Paul
