The Fury de Shirin Neshat

The exhibition The Fury, created by Shirin Neshat, is a story in which we can follow the emotional upheavals experienced by the protagonist.

First, you can watch a two-channel video demonstrating the psychological and emotional state of a woman who has been detained and remains scarred by violent memories of her incarceration. The second part of the exhibition is a virtual reality experience where you can experience the physical and emotional burden of the protagonist.

In this completely fictitious exhibition, the subject of sexual exploitation of female political prisoners is addressed, with reference to their mistreatment by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Please note that this exhibition deals with sensitive subjects such as violence against women, sexual assault and torture in the context of incarceration.
