Positions sur la matière

Positions sur la matière is the first collective exhibition organized at the atelier b gallery and presents artworks with the common subject, the textile work. The contemporary textile art is illustrated here by sculptural, pictorial and video practices. The artists participating in this exhibition (among others Annie Legault, Caroline Blais, Delphine Hugue) make us discover an intimate material world where the mediums overlap and intersect, scrambling the supposed or imagined borders between visual arts and craft.
