1 November 2023 to 14 January 2024

Take a cultural journey through artist EJ Kwandibens' multidisciplinary art exhibition "Mino Bimaadiziwin", which reappropriates traditional family narratives.

EJ Kwandibens is a multidisciplinary artist from the Northern Woodland Anishinaabek Loon Clan. His exhibition will take you on a journey into the past, present and future through intergenerational family narratives. The exhibition, called "Mino Bimaadiziwin", is an Anishinaabek philosophy meaning "good and balanced life".

It is through storytelling that Aboriginal people pass on their history, as well as the teachings of their ancestors. These stories are among the main elements constituting their identity as a people and a nation.

This exhibition is presented with the support of the SDC Vieux-Montréal as part of the Programme de soutien à l'offre culturelle du Vieux-Montréal.
