AfroMondeFestival
Festival AfroMonde transforms the Quai de l’Horloge into a vibrant gathering place celebrating Afro-descendant cultures. Free and open to all, this flagship event in Montréal’s Old Port highlights the richness of cultural traditions, artistic expression, and shared heritage through a dynamic program featuring music, dance, visual arts, gastronomy, and wellness activities.
For its 18th edition, the festival embraces the theme “Harmony,” inviting visitors to slow down, reconnect, and celebrate community. From August 6 to 9, the site will come alive with live performances, dance showcases, interactive workshops, exhibitions, and wellness-focused experiences in a festive and welcoming atmosphere.
Guided by values of inclusion, cultural transmission, and togetherness, Afromonde brings thousands of festivalgoers together each year to discover artists, exchange ideas, and experience something both uplifting and deeply meaningful.
