Egypt. Three Millenia on the Nile

The Pointe-à-Callière Museum is presenting an exclusive North American exhibition, Egypt. Three Milenia on the Nile. You will discover one of the most important Egyptian collections in the world, from the Museo Egizio in Italy.

The exhibition offers more than 300 objects including working tools and everyday objects, as well as monumental statues, jewelry and mummies. This "immersive, grandiose and poetic" tour tells the story of a 3,000-year-old society whose central element is the Nile River.

In addition to admiring various objects, you will learn more about the organization of Egyptian society and the role of common people such as fishermen, farmers, priests and pharaohs. This extraordinarily long-lived civilization has much to tell.

The exhibition is realized in collaboration with the Egizio Museum of Turin.
