Collège Lasalle Graduates’ Victory Parade in Le Vieux

If you couldn’t already see the natural connection between Old Montreal and fashion, it will appear evidently clear during the parade organized by Collège Lasalle on May 13th.

The graduates in fashion design are holding a parade unique to its kind to present the creations crowning their coursework and achievements. Set against the backdrop of Old Montreal’s riverside and aged stones, the public will be able to witness a hundred mannequins proudly bearing the students’ work and will be able to obtain a copy of the book SIGNATURE, a compilation of all these creations.

The essentials:

• WHEN? Friday, May 13th, starting at 5:30 p.m.

• WHERE? From the Grand Quay to the Clocktower Quay

• SPECIFICS? The parade is a free event!

The SIGNATURE book will be on sale at the Grand Quay during that evening and will continue to be available at the Collège LaSalle store, or online at www.collegelasalle.com/signature, for $39 + tax. Creative director of SIGNATURE, vol. 2 Andrew McNally explains: “For this book, each editorial team had carte blanche to choose the pieces that inspired them most to carry out their photoshoot. The only difference: I invited new photographers, stylists, hairdressers, and makeup artists to collaborate on the book. I wanted to bring a breath of fresh air to the project and celebrate the many talents we have here.”
