As a part of the temporary exhibition Universal Jerusalem – Gerusalemme universale, The Marguerite-Bourgeoys Museum is organizing a conference about Jerusalem’s history on April 15th. This conference will discuss the European crusades in ancient Syria and Palestine. It will also address the arrival of the Europeans on the Holy Land, bringing with them their culture, language and art practice at the same time.This conference will be held by Alessio Marziali Peretti, commissioner of the exhibition.
