From August 1 to 31, come celebrate Archaeology Month in Old Montreal, organized by Archéo-Québec. The perfect event for all history buffs, young and old!

Pointe-à-Callière Museum

This summer at the Pointe-à-Callière Museum, you will have the opportunity to discover, in the company of an archaeologist, a fascinating discovery made in 2020 on the site of Fort Ville-Marie. The museum also offers visit above the remains of the building, accompanied by guides who will undoubtedly know how to intrigue you! And for the little ones, the Archéo-aventure activity is still available for a special family moment.

Marguerite-Bourgeoys Historic Site

This month, come over to the Marguerite-Bourgeoys Historic Site to admire archaeological collections from Native camps with about 255 objects to discover! And for the occasion, the Marguerite-Bourgeoys Historic Site has also organized workshops that you can enjoy at the Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel.
