A nature corner in the downtown area

Parc éphémère is located at the Adélard Godbout power plant on the corner of Queen and Wellington, in the Faubourg des Récollets sector.

In cooperation with Hydro-Québec, the property owner, the SDC cleans up and sets up this welcoming retreat every year from May through October.

Workers from the Cité du multimédia and the neighbourhood can now enjoy a little greenery and relax under the trees at lunchtime.

The installation of flower pots and new picnic tables was a collaborative effort of the Ville-Marie borough’s crews, and Old Montreal’s new clean-up crew is handling the maintenance of the location.

It should be noted that the ALLIED Properties group is among the project’s partners. That company’s support was of great help in developing the idea of this new space, which the neighbourhood’s business workers can now enjoy during the warmer months.
