The SDC Vieux-Montréal is currently conducting a consultation with the local community to take the pulse of its members regarding macroeconomic issues that could influence the visibility, commercial vitality, and ultimately, the development of Old Montreal in the coming years.

By surveying the expectations of the business community on various topics, the SDC aims to contribute meaningfully to the discussions that inform decision-making affecting the historic district.

PRIMARY TARGET AUDIENCE FOR THE SURVEY:
SDC members (i.e. owner, partner, manager, or employee representing a business established within the SDC Vieux-Montréal territory)

ALSO INVITED TO COMPLETE THE SURVEY:
Residents, visitors, and workers of Old Montreal

As a member of the local community, the SDC Vieux-Montréal invites you to complete this brief survey so your opinion can be considered and contribute to the district’s healthy development in the years ahead.

Construction project in Old Montreal for the Montreal Federal Justice Complex

Street excavation work will take place on Saint-Jacques and Notre-Dame Streets, between Place d’Armes and Saint-Laurent, on the following dates:

Saint-Jacques: June 16 to July 4, 2025

  • Weekend traffic openings on the following dates:
    • June 21 and 22
    • June 24
    • June 28 and 29
    • June 30 and July 1

Notre-Dame: August 4 to 10, 2025

Please note that these works will result in full closures of the affected streets. However, traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure continued access to businesses and residences located outside the construction zone.
