About Your SDC
Mission and Fields of Activity
The primary mandate of the SDC is to bring together its members and create a unified business community. It is committed to working tirelessly went it comes to sharing ideas, addressing common issues, finding realistic solutions, and creating a living and working environment where good neighbourliness prevails. The more participative the SDC is, the more influential it becomes as an organization dedicated to local economic development.
Another key mandate of the SDC Vieux-Montréal is to ensure the promotion and enhancement of the historic district's offerings. Finally, to generate a positive visitor experience in the district, the SDC Vieux-Montréal invests in making the area more welcoming, actively supporting attractions and social and/or cultural events that highlight the distinctive character of Old Montreal, while also reflecting its heritage and historical aspect.
