Annual Membership Fee
The membership fee is determined based on the annual budget of each SDC, which is approved by the borough council.
The City of Montreal provides support to the SDC, notably by handling the invoicing, collection and remittance of annual fees. Fee statements are sent to the occupant operating the business establishment on the first day of the financial year, January 1.
The calculation of the membership fee is established according to the parameters agreed upon by each SDC based on its budget. For example, an SDC may decide to determine a fee based on the size of the place of business or to set rates based on the value of the premises.

N.B. To be entitled to vote during the corporation's meetings, members must have paid their annual membership fee.
