2 April 2026 to 30 September 2026

Presented by Sacred Fire Productions, Threads of Connection is an immersive exhibition that highlights the richness of Indigenous textile traditions from the Northwest Coast and their dialogue with contemporary creation.

Led by Gitxsan designer Yolonda Skelton Jackson, with the participation of guest artist Mead Simon, the exhibition explores the role of textiles as carriers of memory, identity, and cultural transmission across generations.

Through a curated selection of works, visitors discover pieces that extend these ancestral practices into the present, incorporating reclaimed materials, experimental techniques, and contemporary artistic interventions. Far more than garments, these creations become living expressions of lineage, community, and cultural continuity.

Presented at the cultural space of Productions Feux Sacrés, this free exhibition invites visitors to reflect, explore, and experience a meaningful encounter between heritage and modernity.
