12 September 2026 to 13 September 2026

On September 12 and 13, 2026, the Belvedere at the Montréal Science Centre will host the Créole Market, the signature event of the Martinique Gourmande Festival. For one vibrant weekend, this iconic waterfront venue in the Old Port will be transformed into a lively Caribbean marketplace celebrating the flavours, craftsmanship, music, and culture of Martinique.

Visitors will have the opportunity to browse a wide variety of artisan products, authentic culinary specialties, and locally inspired creations while meeting passionate artisans, producers, and exhibitors. The event also features a rich cultural program with live music, entertainment, and demonstrations that showcase the traditions, creativity, and savoir-faire of Martinique.

Presented as part of the 19th edition of the Martinique Gourmande Festival, the Créole Market attracts thousands of visitors each year eager to experience the warmth, flavours, and vibrant spirit of the Caribbean. With more than 12,000 visitors expected, this must-attend event promises an immersive and festive celebration in the heart of Montréal's Old Port.

Whether you're a food lover, curious to discover Martinican culture, or simply looking for a lively weekend activity, the Créole Market offers a unique opportunity to experience the colours, rhythms, and flavours of Martinique, without leaving Montréal.
