2 June 2026 to 9 September 2026

Enjoy free outdoor activities in front of the Pointe-à-Callière Museum for Summer on the Pointe.

From June 2 to September 9, Pointe-à-Callière Museum invites visitors to enjoy a new edition of Summer on the Pointe, a free seasonal program that brings the Museum’s outdoor plaza to life throughout the summer. Set within a welcoming urban oasis, the event offers residents, workers, and visitors a chance to relax, explore Montréal’s rich heritage, and take part in a variety of outdoor cultural activities.

This year’s program draws inspiration from the exhibitions Heroes of Greece. The Age of Troy and Treaty of the Great Peace of Montréal, offering a diverse lineup that blends history, music, entertainment, and family-friendly activities. Highlights include the lively Block Party on the Pointe, the popular Musical Middays concert series, and the return of Family Sundays, featuring activities designed for younger visitors.

The beloved 18th-Century Public Market will also return at the end of August, transporting visitors back in time with artisans, historical demonstrations, and costumed characters recreating the atmosphere of early Montréal.

With its comfortable outdoor seating areas, summer-inspired décor, temporary exhibitions, and the renowned L’Arrivage Bistro, Summer on the Pointe has become one of Old Montréal’s most enjoyable gathering places, a perfect destination to relax, discover, and make the most of the summer season.
