Discover ANTHEMS, the most comprehensive exhibition dedicated to Filipino-Canadian artist Stephanie Comilang to date, and the first presentation of her work in Quebec.

Through video installations, textile works, 3D-printed objects and virtual reality experiences, the artist explores themes of migration, identity and the invisible networks that shape our world. Her work examines notions of home, belonging and resilience, as well as the impact of globalization on human lives and experiences.

Blending documentary and fiction, Stephanie Comilang creates what she describes as “science-fiction documentaries,” intertwining personal narratives, technology and futuristic imaginaries. The exhibition brings together works that pay tribute to cultures, histories and people connected across borders.

Based in Berlin, Stephanie Comilang has presented her work at numerous international institutions and events, including Tate Modern, the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum and the Sharjah Biennial. In 2019, she received the Sobey Art Award, one of Canada’s most prestigious distinctions in visual arts.
