Discover Turn or Burn, the first major museum-scale exhibition by Montreal artist Jean-François Bouchard, featuring a collection of previously unseen works presented for the first time.

Born from encounters with street evangelists in the United States, the project explores the connections between belief, image and power in public space. Through photography, video and installation, Jean-François Bouchard turns his lens on preachers who continue to walk the streets of American cities, sharing their beliefs with passersby.

The exhibition invites visitors to reflect on how beliefs and ideologies take shape, are transmitted and occupy public space, while exploring the tensions between faith, performance and politics.

Based between Montreal and New York, visual artist Jean-François Bouchard focuses his practice on communities and individuals living outside dominant social structures. Presented in Canada and internationally, his work lies at the intersection of documentary and conceptual research.
