This summer, take in Montréal from above with the second edition of Head in the Clouds, a free summer program that transforms the Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel belvedere into a unique space for contemplation, creativity, and cultural discovery. Perched atop one of Montréal's most iconic heritage landmarks, the belvedere offers one of the city's most breathtaking panoramic views, overlooking Old Montréal, the St. Lawrence River, and the downtown skyline.
Throughout the summer, visitors are invited to experience this exceptional setting through a series of artistic and immersive activities. On July 24 and 25, enjoy live performances by cellist Lumine Egan and violinist Mayu Egan, whose music will fill this remarkable venue. On July 29 and 31, slow down and capture the surrounding scenery during a sketching workshop led by Romain Blais, illustrator of the temporary exhibition BjFj-96: The Secrets of Bonsecours.
On August 7 and 8, unleash your creativity with collage artist Virginie Maltais, who will guide participants in designing postcards inspired by Montréal's landscapes. Finally, on August 14 and 15, the belvedere will remain exceptionally open into the evening, offering visitors the chance to admire Montréal at sunset and experience the city as night falls.
Free and open to all, Head in the Clouds invites visitors to slow down, appreciate Montréal from a new perspective, and enjoy a memorable cultural experience from one of Old Montréal's most spectacular viewpoints.
