1 June 2026 to 26 September 2026

This summer, step inside one of Old Montréal’s most iconic landmarks and discover City Hall from a new perspective. Presented by the MEM – Centre des mémoires montréalaises, this seasonal program offers two unique ways to explore the historic building: a classic guided tour or a brand-new interactive mystery game.

The guided tour takes visitors through some of City Hall’s most notable spaces while uncovering the building’s history, architecture, and role in Montréal’s civic life. Lasting approximately one hour, the tour also provides access to several ceremonial rooms that are usually closed to the public, offering a rare behind-the-scenes look at this important institution.

New for summer 2026, the mystery game Mystery at City Hall: In Search of Lost Keys invites participants to enjoy a 90-minute immersive adventure. Through clues, puzzles, and discoveries, visitors explore the building in a fun and engaging way while learning about its history. Offered in French only, this activity takes place from Wednesday to Friday and requires advance registration.

Whether you are passionate about history, interested in architecture, or simply curious to discover one of Montréal’s most significant heritage buildings, this summer program offers a unique opportunity to experience City Hall in a whole new way.

Activities are offered in both French and English, depending on the schedule. Visit the official website for detailed schedules, participation information, and the latest program updates.
