LeGrandPoutineFest
Since 2015, Le Grand PoutineFest has been traveling across Quebec, offering a unique celebration of the province’s most iconic dish: poutine!
At the heart of the festival, five gourmet food trucks serve up an impressive selection of creative poutines. Visitors can enjoy reinvented classics such as pulled pork poutine, BBQ beef rib poutine, and crispy chicken fillet poutine, alongside more adventurous creations including smoked meat poutine, extra pickle poutine, popcorn chicken poutine, and Asian-inspired specialties like General Tao chicken poutine, dumpling poutine, and sweet-and-sour poutine.
Beyond the food, the festival features an exciting entertainment program for all ages. Highlights include free live concerts by the band Spin (July 25 and August 1) and Freddie James (July 29), line dancing with the Winslow Dancers and Danny Beauregard, and tasting nights on July 24 and 31, where visitors can sample several poutine creations through a special tasting package. Family Days, held on July 26 and August 2, offer a free kids' poutine with the purchase of an adult-sized poutine, in addition to giant inflatable attractions and classic carnival games.
On July 23, 26, and 30, festivalgoers can also enjoy a prime view of the Loto-Québec International Fireworks Competition, adding an unforgettable backdrop to the evening. Sweet treat vendors and a selection of Québec craft beers round out the festival experience.
Admission to Le Grand PoutineFest is free throughout the festival, with the exception of ticketed dinner-show evenings, making it one of Montréal's must-visit summer events for anyone looking to indulge in creative poutines while enjoying great entertainment along the waterfront.
