A new addition to the historic district: Ciné-Quartier is partnering with the Alliance Française de Montréal to present a series of monthly cinema evenings in the heart of Old Montréal. These inspiring events will give audiences the chance to discover notable contemporary films in the Alliance Française’s new cultural space at 317 Place D’Youville.
The program continues on Wednesday, June 10, with Under the Sky of Alice (Sous le ciel d’Alice), the debut feature film by Lebanese-French director Chloé Mazlo. Inspired by the story of her grandmother, this sensitive and poetic film follows a young Swiss woman who settles in Beirut in the 1950s, where love and the upheavals of history will forever change the course of her life. Reserve your spot through the online box office.
More screenings will be announced soon, stay tuned!
