1 July 2025 to 1 July 2025

Once again this year, on July 1st, Canada Day will transform the Clock Tower Quay into a lively, inclusive, and free playground in the heart of the Old Port. The 2025 edition promises to be vibrant and festive, with a program designed for all ages:

  • Ceremonial salute, national anthem, and citizenship ceremony for new Canadians
  • Family zone with inflatable games, face painting, and creative workshops
  • Mini-golf, adrenaline park, and interactive games
  • Food trucks offering flavours from around the world
  • Live music performances, DJ sets, and roaming entertainment
  • Fun activities with Parks Canada and surprise giveaways!

Whether you're coming with family, friends, or solo, it’s the perfect moment to celebrate together in a welcoming and safe atmosphere. The event will take place rain or shine.

In addition to the main event at the Old Port, a free parade will unfold through Old Montreal: Canada on the Move invites participants of all ages to enjoy a festive mid-day walk, starting at Place d’Armes and ending at the Clock Tower Quay. This 1.2 km route will symbolically take you across Canada from coast to coast through an immersive experience that kicks off the day’s celebrations.
