Looking for a different kind of evening, calm and laid-back? Book Night is an invitation to slow down at the heart of Librairie Bertrand.

The concept is simple: get comfortable, open the book of your choice, and enjoy an hour of silent reading accompanied by soft background music. No mandatory discussions, no performance, just you and your book.

Whether you come alone or with someone, it’s the perfect moment to unwind over a drink and enjoy peaceful reading time. Book Night takes place on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. (with the reading hour beginning at 6:30 p.m.), at a cost of $5 including one beverage, or $3 for students with valid ID.

Bring your own book or choose one on site, the team will be happy to recommend your next read. Bonus: enjoy 10% off your purchases during the evening!
