After a journey between Montréal and the Eastern Townships, Roccia Gallery makes its return to Old Montréal, settling into a spacious, light-filled space on Saint-Paul Street West. Founded by Hélène Bélanger-Martin, the gallery opens a new chapter by offering an experience that is both intimate and deeply human.

Entirely dedicated to the work of painter and sculptor André Desjardins, the gallery goes beyond a traditional exhibition space. Here, artworks coexist with the artist’s studio, allowing visitors to glimpse the creative process, from early sketches to works in progress. Paintings, sculptures, clay fragments, and drawings come together to tell a living story, enriched by films, texts, and archival materials that reveal the behind-the-scenes of creation.

The experience is further shaped by Hélène herself, a gallerist and filmmaker who passionately shares the story behind each piece. With over twenty years of collaboration with the artist, her perspective adds a deeply personal dimension to every visit.
Both a creative space and a place of encounter, Roccia offers a rare immersion into art, where each visit becomes a meaningful and memorable experience.
