Every summer, the SDC enhances the landscape of the historic neighbourhood with a range of seasonal decorative elements that extend across its emblematic streets. Decorative spheres in the vibrant colours of bougainvillea — a true summer signature of the district — are suspended from lampposts along Rue Notre-Dame Ouest, between Place d'Armes and Boulevard Saint-Laurent, as well as along Rue Saint-Paul Est and Rue Notre-Dame Est, between Rue Saint-Claude, Place Jacques-Cartier and Rue Berri — extending the colourful and festive atmosphere throughout the heart of Old Montreal.

In keeping with the spirit of the Ruelle Saint-Amable installation, a bougainvillea arch now marks the entrance to Ruelle Saint-Dizier on Rue Saint-Paul Ouest, creating a decorative gateway that invites passersby to explore further. This new addition blends seamlessly into the floral signature that defines the neighbourhood each summer season.

Finally, a green wall frames the sculpture Les Chuchoteuses, at the corner of Rue Marie-Morin and Rue Saint-Paul Ouest, highlighting this public artwork and adding a decorative touch to this picturesque corner of Old Montreal.
