With the aim of providing the local community and visitors with welcoming spaces conducive to relaxation and good neighbourliness, the SDC Vieux-Montréal has set up professionally designed and maintained pétanque courts for the duration of the summer season at a strategic location in the district. These are available to anyone wanting to come and practice their shooting and pointing, whether with family, friends or among colleagues.

The site, featuring a total of 8 double courts, is located across from the Marché Bonsecours along De la Commune Street, just east of Place Jacques-Cartier.
