An open-air exhibition celebrating 50 years of dedication to Montréal’s heritage!

To mark the 50th anniversary of Héritage Montréal, the Château Ramezay presents an outdoor photography exhibition highlighting the vital role of this civic organization, dedicated to preserving and promoting the architectural, historical, natural, and cultural heritage of the city.

Installed along Le Royer and St-Claude streets, bordering the museum garden and just steps from Place Jacques-Cartier, this free exhibition invites passersby to explore the many initiatives led by Héritage Montréal over the decades, through a series of images and interpretive texts.

Developed in collaboration with Héritage Montréal, this cultural initiative enhances the visitor experience in Old Montréal by offering both a historical and contemporary perspective on the city’s evolution—and the ongoing efforts to preserve its memory.

The photo exhibition on Le Royer and Saint-Claude streets is presented with the support of the SDC Vieux-Montréal, as part of the Programme de soutien à l’offre culturelle du Vieux-Montréal.
