The immersive exhibition “Sherlock Holmes: Cracking the Case” transports you to 19th-century London, following in the footsteps of the brilliant sleuth imagined by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Blending history, literature, and investigation, the experience invites visitors to explore the author’s inspirations and the iconic settings of the era, from the legendary 221B Baker Street to Conan Doyle’s own study.
Throughout the journey, visitors are challenged to solve a brand-new mystery in true Holmes and Dr. Watson fashion, while discovering the major scientific and technological advances, in ballistics, botany, photography, and more, that shaped modern investigative methods.
The adventure concludes in Montreal, where a look back at the turn of the 20th century highlights the development of local detective work and the figure of Silas Carpenter, often referred to as Quebec’s own “Sherlock Holmes.” A captivating experience that blends mystery, science, and history, perfect for families and fans of clever deduction alike.
