28 February 2026 to 8 March 2026

Château Ramezay opens its doors to visitors of all ages for a spring break filled with fun and interactive activities. A perfect opportunity to explore Montréal’s history as a family!

Throughout the day (from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.), animated interpretation stations invite visitors to step back in time: discover the fascinating world of the fur trade, try your hand at quill writing, and strike a pose in period costume for a unique souvenir photo.

Young adventurers can follow the family trail “Become a voyageur!,” guided by Fulbert the beaver, as they take on challenges that spark curiosity and observation throughout the museum’s galleries. They can also explore the role of a curator with the booklet “Let’s play Museum Curator” and create their own exhibition inspired by the history of Hochelaga, Ville-Marie, and Montréal.

To extend the fun, a free creative and historical lunch space is available: bring your lunch, let the kids color characters from the Ramezay family, and test your knowledge with an interactive timeline.
