Pointe-à-Callière’s18thCenturyPublicMarket
Pointe-à-Callière Museum’s public market is coming back for a 30th year.
Come enjoy the museum’s flagship event and get transported back to the heart of New France. This reenactment will show you what a day at the market was like in Montreal during the French reign of the 18th century.
Under the theme of navigation, discover trades of yesteryear, native traditions, and millennium-old knowledge, games and workshops centered around navigation for young and old, and much more! Visit merchant stalls and find 100% Quebec local goods! And don’t hesitate to greet all the historic characters you cross during the day: musicians, villagers, sailors, soldiers, and others to meet!
The SDC Vieux-Montréal is a partner in this event.
