Nuit blanche returns to Montréal for its 23rd edition, promising a festive and vibrant evening entirely dedicated to celebrating Montréal’s culture. For one night only, the city comes alive with unexpected activities that invite connection, discovery, and exploration from a fresh perspective, transforming Montréal into a vast cultural playground until the early hours of the morning.

For this new edition, Old Montréal will pulse all night long, offering a series of unforgettable moments.

Pointe-à-Callière presents a festive evening blending historical discovery and entertainment. From 7 p.m. to 1 a.m., visitors are invited to explore playful and immersive exhibitions free of charge, wander through Montréal’s archaeological remains after dark, and rediscover the atmosphere of its back alleys through interactive games. The night continues in a warm, convivial setting with improv matches throughout the evening, outdoor fire pits, and a tasty food offering, creating a joyful, original experience celebrating Montréal’s history and culture.

PHI, in collaboration with World Creation Studio, presents INTERFACES, a late-night event exploring video games and online culture as gateways to new realities. From 9 p.m. to 3 a.m., performances, DJ sets, digital works, and interactive installations spotlight artists working in visual, sound, and live arts who engage with contemporary issues while opening the door to alternative possibilities. Livestreamed performances, echoing streaming culture, ensure a festive, immersive, and widely accessible experience.

At the Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel, the ensemble À ContreVoix celebrates its 20th anniversary with a special program featuring works dear to its performers. The journey continues with an immersive concert by Ensemble Comtessa, blending medieval music, period instruments, and electronic elements into a sensory experience of sound and light. The evening concludes with a rare moment at the belvedere, offering exceptional views over the illuminated neighborhood.
