On November 1, the Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel will be transformed into a spellbinding setting for a one-of-a-kind Halloween concert.
By candlelight, a string quartet dressed in dark costumes will perform bewitching works that immerse the audience in a mysterious, haunting atmosphere worthy of the greatest gothic tales.
The program features iconic pieces such as Thriller, Toccata and Fugue, Psycho, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, the first movement of Shostakovich’s String Quartet No. 8, as well as themes from Harry Potter, Ghostbusters, Danse macabre, Beetlejuice, and Schubert’s Erlkönig.
Two performances are offered, at 6:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m., for a 75-minute musical journey without intermission, where chills and emotions intertwine in the chapel’s historic setting. Get you tickets online.
