4 March 2026 to 22 March 2026

After captivating Centaur Theatre audiences with Blind Date in 2019, Spontaneous Theatre returns with a wildly inventive reimagining of Shakespeare’s most famous tragedy.

In Goblin:Macbeth, three mischievous goblins stumble upon a copy of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare and decide to tackle Macbeth. The audience is swept into an unpredictable and audacious retelling of this legendary tale of ambition, betrayal, and madness: sometimes improvised, always irreverent, and performed in a style that is as chaotic as it is hilarious.

After dazzling spectators at the Stratford Festival (2023) and Tarragon Theatre (2024), Goblin:Macbeth now arrives in Montréal with its unique blend of comedy, theatrical magic, and the raw poetry of Shakespeare.

Expect the unexpected: this unruly, explosive production will delight fans of classical theatre as much as lovers of improvisation and the absurd. Book your tickets online now.
