WinterRestAreas

Spread over 4 specific sites throughout the historic district, the Winter Rest Areas project consists of amenities primarily aimed at ensuring neighbourhood conviviality during the winter months. This project is distinguished in particular by its urban furniture installations, offering visitors the chance to relax in the heart of beautifully illuminated and decorated spaces – which are also cleared of snow – while promoting active mobility in Old Montreal all winter long. The winter rest areas are accessible day and night, between the months of January and March.
