The Old Montreal Winter Rallies

The Old Montreal Winter Rallies

Every Saturday afternoon in December, come enjoy a free and enriching activity that will allow you to enjoy the historic neighborhood during the holidays!

Experience the winter wonderland through a self-guided tour

For this new winter season, the SDC Vieux-Montréal is pleased to offer you a free and enriching activity set up thanks to the collaboration of Guidatour. Make your way to Place Royale, alongside Saint-Paul Street West, every Saturday afternoon during December to embark on the exploration of Old Montreal with your friends and family. A self-guided rally has been specially created to help you discover lights, legendary public spots, and wonderfully decorated holiday storefronts.

You'll see the historic district in a new light thanks to this pleasant walking tour that includes questions, games and fun challenges. The outdoor rally is self-guided, whether you are alone, a couple or a family.

You can choose between a version for adults or one for families, each available in French or English. Bilingual animators will welcome you at the beginning and end of the tour to give you and collect the required material.

Celebrate the holidays with family and friends

Move, have fun, learn, break the routine, get some fresh air... it's a great way to celebrate the holidays with family and friends. The rally lasts approximately 60 minutes and departures are every Saturday in December between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., at Place Royale, on the St. Paul Street side, and ends at Place Jacques-Cartier. No reservations are needed, just show up at the desired time within the time slot.

In addition, all participants completing the rally will be entered in a contest to win a pair of tickets for a guided tour of Old Montreal or a Montreal Ghosts tour.

So what are you waiting for? Dress warmly and come to enjoy it in large numbers!
