Are spring’s up and down temperatures giving you the urge to travel? You can always fall back on a tried and true trip for your tongue! We have for you here a selection of restaurants that offer dishes with a taste of Asia. Take your taste buds on a gourmet getaway vacation using this springtime address book.

Le Petit Sao, 237 Notre-Dame Street West
From décor to plate, you will fall under this restaurant’s charm. Here, they offer modern takes on traditional Vietnamese cuisine: pho, spring rolls, bowls, and more. Each dish is an explosion of flavors and colors, and each a promise of delight.

Le 409, 409 McGill Street
In this Indian-style gastropub, you'll find dishes from this great Asian country that we've always loved (samosas, grilled meats, curries...), as well as more daring proposals (butter chicken poutine!). The wine, beer and cocktail list is also noteworthy. And all this is served in a splendid setting.

Restaurant Hà, 600 William Street
Restaurant Hà takes its inspiration from traditional Vietnamese restaurants. You will find typical dishes, influenced by traditional Vietnamese cuisine and Laotian culture, all prepared with top-quality ingredients. And to accompany your meal, they also offer a wonderful selection of wines, from red to white, festive sparkling wines, and even an astounding orange wine!

Jiao Dim Sum Bar, 399 Notre-Dame Street West
Here, it's hard to make a choice while browsing the menu. Crispy shrimps with matcha mayo? Lobster guédille? Mini duck burgers? Or the decadent fried rice with wagyu beef, oyster mushrooms and... gold leaf? Our mouths are already watering.

Gandhi, 230 Saint-Paul Street West
For more than 15 years, Gandhi has been welcoming guests in Old Montreal to discover the flavours of India. On the menu: traditional dishes like tandoori and butter chicken – you’ll be transported from the first bite! Plus, Gandhi also offers vegetarian and gluten-free options!

Hanzo Izakaya, 417 Saint-Nicolas street
On the menu of this Japanese brasserie, many options: fried, raw, meat, fish or veggie... We go there to enjoy small bites with friends or lovers and to enjoy the succulent cocktails of the house, whose decor is inspired by a scene from the movie Kill Bill.

Kyo Bar Japonais, 711 Côte de la Place d’Armes
Kyo Bar Japonais is perfect for fans of Japanese fare! Their choice of sushi is as impressive as their huge selection of saké: more than 25 varieties, making this the largest selection in Montreal!

Ichi-Bon Sushi, 251 rue Saint-Jacques
In this small and friendly neighborhood restaurant, generous plates filled with impeccably fresh sushi are served by a very attentive staff.

Comptoir Sushi 36, 36 Notre-Dame Street East
The perfect place for those who are short on time, Comptoir Sushi offers a wide range of sushi, sandwiches and other dishes, including several vegan options, to eat in or take out.

Sésame, 380 Saint-Jacques Street West
This is the perfect location to enjoy Asian fusion dishes prepared on-site with only fresh ingredients and no added MSG. Spoil yourself with their fried calamari, shrimp tempura, or their spring rolls!

Bloom sushi, 368 Saint-Paul Street West
Bloom Sushi is a vegetarian and vegan restaurant. Try some of their delicious fish-free sushi! Their menu based around botanical cuisine will awaken your taste buds! And if you want to pair a beer, saké, or wine with your meal, consult their Takeaway Alcohol menu.

Restaurant Szechuan Cuisine Chinoise Par Mr Ma, 400 Notre-Dame Street West
Among their seafood, meat, and vegetarian dishes, you have your pick of the menu here! We fell hard for their General Tso’s chicken!
